Welcome to Mother's Shrimp!

Hi there! First off, thank you for stopping by. It means a lot to me.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Trinh and I'm the proud founder and sole owner of Mother's Shrimp. I breed shrimp out of my home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Here is a little backstory of how Mother's Shrimp became Mother's Shrimp. One day I was looking at setting up a tank just for my toddlers. I stumbled upon shrimp and that was it. Shrimp are cooler and much more fascinating than fish. I said what I said. One tank lead to two tanks, then I caught the infamous MTS ( multi-tank syndrome). Then I had some close fish friends ask if I sold my shrimp. Then the referrals starting coming. BAM! Mother's Shrimp was born Dec. 2024.

Why the name Mother's Shrimp you ask? Why the strong name? Here is why.
My parents immigrated from Vietnam after the war ended and I am the 2nd generation in America. My mom is a strong woman that raised 5 children while my dad worked. After I married my husband, we were blessed with a son and daughter. They are 2 and 3 years old now. Other parents were right about not blinking, they're growing up way too fast. My daughter LOVES to "help". If labels on the shipping boxes are crooked, it is not because I didn't care, it is because my 3 year old put the stickers on the box(s)!

If you ever met me at any events or you're a vendor next to me, you know I talk like a valley girl and always ask if you need anything like 20x during the event. I tend to "mom" everyone and then some. Hence the name Mother's Shrimp!
